DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID

  • Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is an emissions-control liquid required by modern diesel engines to break down harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) into nitrogen and water. It is injected into the exhaust stream and used by the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system.

  • Purchase in juds (9.46 litres), drums (208 litres), or totes (1,041 litres) from most local Co-ops. 

  • Also available in bulk at select cardlock locations

OTHER FUELS

Co-op Stove Oil (Heater Fuel Type 1) / Co-op Furnace Oil (Heater Fuel Type 2):
Fuels liquid-burning equipment used to generate heat for domestic and industrial purposes. Furnace fuel may containup to 5% biodiesel.

Co-op Mine Diesel:
Developed for underground mining applications where reduced emissins and higher flashpoint products are preferred. Only available at Co-op. Mine Diesel does not contain biodiesel.
